Offset Printing

Offset Printing is still to date the most common way for most printed products to be produced. At The Odee Company, we do both digital and offset printing. At this Wikipedia article, you will find a diagram that shows the process of offset printing. Primarily, you are offsetting the image from the plate to an image blanket which in turn imprints an impression cylinder. The impression cylinder is what actually imprints the paper or substrate. It works off the idea that water and oil don’t mix. A simplified explanation is that the ink and water stay separated so that the image can carry the ink.

Also check out our digital presses for your ultra short run quantities and super tight deadlines. We also do all of our own diecutting and full bindery in house. For all your printing needs contact The Odee Company. Since 1923, we have been helping customers with the printed word. The Odee Company takes file to print and ready for fulfillment in our warehouse. The Odee Company is an FSC/ SFI printer and promotional product distributor in DFW.
